The Monterey Senior Center presents a 4-hour Spring Collage Workshop. Use your personal and creative touches to collage, paint, and decorate high quality cards, gift boxes, and gift eggs. The workshop is suitable for students age 18 and older. Refreshments will be provided.The class will be held Thursday, March 11, 1pm-5pm. Cost is $15 for Monterey City residents, and $20 for all others. Please pre-register at the Monterey Recreation and Community Services Dept. She is co-founder of BellySema Performing Arts Company (based in Monterey), as well as a member of Desert Dream Dance Company of Santa Cruz. On Saturday, October 24, 2009, Bay View Elementary School presented its Annual Harvest Fair & Carnival. The event featured carnival and family games, prizes, music, face painting, a craft and boutique fair, a BBQ, a Cafe Corner, and special fund raising raffles. All proceeds benefit the children of Bay View Elementary.
